Since 1997, HKL Research, Inc. has been granting an annual award in memory of Maria Bardadin-Otwinowska for outstanding Master's theses in Physics for students of the University of Warsaw (UW), Poland. To date, the awards have been granted to 26 students, spanning multiple institutes of the Faculty of Physics.
