Since 1997, HKL Research, Inc. has been granting an annual award in memory of Maria Bardadin-Otwinowska to recognize outstanding Master's theses in Physics by students at the University of Warsaw (UW), Poland. So far, a total of 31 students from various institutes within the Faculty of Physics have received this award.
